The Daniel Burns Band is a powerhouse Southern/Roots rock group emerging from the heart of Central Florida. Known for their eclectic fusion of rock, blues, folk, and soul, the band delivers a signature sound that captivates audiences and leaves a lasting impression.
Since their formation in 2014, the group has been anchored by Daniel Burns, a seasoned guitarist and vocalist, who brought together a lineup of exceptional musicians. Drummer Kevin Bowen and lead guitarist/keyboardist Dwayne Collier joined Daniel early on, laying the foundation for the band’s raw and dynamic sound. In 2022, bassist Michael Maddox completed the lineup, adding his masterful skill and energy, rounding out the band’s chemistry and unlocking their fullest potential.
Together, the Daniel Burns Band creates a sound that seamlessly blends the soul of Southern rock with the emotional depth of blues and the storytelling of folk. Their influences span from legendary Southern icons like Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers, to soulful greats such as Otis Redding and Sam Cooke, to modern roots rock heroes like JJ Grey & Mofro. This mix of inspiration allows them to craft music that feels both timeless and refreshingly modern.
With a rapidly growing fanbase and a reputation for electrifying live performances, the Daniel Burns Band continues to gain momentum.
